Individual Counseling

Individual counseling facilitates the exploration and resolution of personal problems and issues according to the needs of the individual. It is a collaborative process in which a unique, confidential, helping relationship is developed between a counselor and a willing client. In this relationship, we work with our clients to get greater self awareness and awareness of his/her surroundings. We explore the client’s feelings and behaviors, relationships with others, choices and decisions as well as the client’s current situation. Our counseling is guided by the teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah.

Family Counseling

Under family counseling, we provide couples’s counseling (husband and wife) or parent/child either together or separate. We also involve other family members and significant others as we deem necessary for each unique family situation. We focus on dysfunctional conflict resolution and communication styles. As we work with our clientele, we educate them about Islamic teachings and guidance on family relationships and how to apply them practically in our day to day lives.
